Whoever you are, whatever the problem, Telford and The Wrekin Citizens Advice Bureau offers free, practical, up-to-date information and advice on a wide range of topics.
We provide information and advice on areas including: Benefits, Consumer, Debt, Discrimination, Employment, Housing, Immigration, Legal and Relationships.
We operate a service that is free, confidential, impartial and independent and it is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.
Whether you visit us at our main office in Wellington, at one of our outreach sessions, or contact us by phone or online, we will always do our best to help.
Your Visit To Us
When visiting our bureau you can browse for information yourself or discuss your enquiry with one of our assessors.
If you’d like to discuss your enquiry – you will be offered a short interview with one of our volunteers (a gateway assessment). This helps us to identify the most appropriate way to help you.
Depending on your particular needs, we may make an appointment to discuss your problem further – in person, by phone or by email. Alternatively, we may provide you with information to take away, or direct you to a different organisation that is better placed to help you.
Volunteer With Us
Volunteering with a CAB is a great way to pick up skills, make friends and feel part of an enthusiastic team. Volunteering can also be fantastic fun and hugely rewarding. Find out more.
Because every Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity we rely on the support of people like you. With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community people always have somewhere to turn in times of crisis.
However, demand for our service is constantly growing and we look to the generosity and support of the public and local companies to help us to maintain our service. Can you help us? Find out more.
